Nature in the home: little lights
December 1st marks the beginning of the silly (but magical!) season. These icy white and lime green flower heads were foraged from our front garden hedge and threaded carefully through my string of Christmas lights yesterday afternoon for a jolly but natural touch. I love the different angles they gently swing in. It's so hard to find that balance - or light touch - with festive Christmas decorating, isn't it? I've heartily admired Lou's little golden bauble on her Nature in the home post this week, as well as the orange slices and pine needle paintbrushes from my other fellow NITH community!

Beautiful! xx
ReplyDeleteThank-you, Lou! I had such fun twining each little bobble-headed flower into the string of lights - what Sunday afternoons are made for :)
