Nature in the home - outside the vase
Oh, how I am so very delighted to take part in this year's 'Nature in the home' series, organised by the talented Lou.
This week's inspiration - thinking outside the vase - is particularly close to my heart with florals and ephemera. I tend to pick up bits and pieces while on my daily dawn walk (or run) through our local park, arriving home with hands full and overflowing, while I stand - still with soaked shoes sweeping our wooden-stained floors - to arrange little compositions on the crazed-white dining table.
These are two loose 'wreaths' focusing on distinct autumnal colour stories - the first rich with rubies, carmines and wine-sticky reds & the second relishing buttery cocoas, hazels and bronzes.

ReplyDeleteThank-you, Sarah-Lou! It's lovely to have you pop by - I absolutely adored your miniature grandma's autumn garden. Those fluted, tawny mini 'shrooms are just too much! :)
