Tuesday Poem: haiku i

evening light

august saw shelled yolk
sag through cracks in bone-tired hands;
now: hold on to me

For a personal creative project I am working on at present, I am writing a haiku (some strict to the form and others in a loose expression of the form) a day. So I will be posting one of these each week for my Tuesday Poem for the next month or so. This is the first - enjoy!
