January
January has been all blue and grey hues outside with walks around the Serpentine (bottom right); inside, there has been ample coffee in Mexican-designed mugs and old books (love our New Zealand Ngaio Marsh during wintry weather) (bottom left), plum frangipane tarts being rustled up for a date with friends (top right) and some gallery scouring. Whitechapel Gallery held an incredible Kader Attia exhibition 'Continuum of Repair: The Light of Jacob's Ladder' which lit up an afternoon and had me dreaming of aluminium bookshelves in a loft-style apartment (top left). Here's to easing cosily into the first month of the year.
